DeepStack Labs (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use LifeXP (“the App”).

Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Username and email address, collected when you sign up (including via Google sign-in, if used).
• Progression Data: XP, level, streak count, Petty Points balance, completed quests, custom quests, touch grass logs, unlocked achievements, and equipped cosmetics.
• Social Data: Friend connections, friend requests, and quest challenges sent or received.
• Focus Session History: Stored locally on your device only — we do not upload or have access to your focus session history.
• Device Permissions: Notification access (for focus-timer alerts) and photo/storage access (only when you choose to save or share a progress, recap, or achievement image).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the App's core features — quests, XP, streaks, focus sessions, and the shop.
• Power social features like friends, challenges, and the leaderboard.
• Respond to support requests sent to us directly.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the App.

We do not use your data for advertising, and LifeXP does not contain third-party ad or tracking SDKs.

4. What Other Users Can See

LifeXP has social features by design. Your username, level, XP, current streak, and equipped avatar frame are visible to your friends and, via the public leaderboard, to other users of the App. Your email address is never shown to other users.

5. Third-Party Services

LifeXP is built on Supabase, which provides authentication and database hosting for the App. Supabase processes your account and progression data on our behalf, subject to their own privacy and security practices.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we delete your data as described on our Delete Account page.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting support@deepstacklabs.co. See our Delete Account page for the account-deletion process.

8. Security

We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

LifeXP is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
